Dr. Haskal performs cutting-edge minimally invasive techniques to treat vascular problems throughout the body. He is a leading authority on deep vein thrombosis (DVT), peripheral arterial disease (PAD), uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), oncology and pelvic congestion, post-thrombotic syndrome, pulmonary embolism, venous insufficiency and endovascular interventions.
Dr. Haskal has published more than 130 scholarly articles, editorials, chapters and books in the field, and has lectured nationally and internationally on a variety of topics. He is on the editorial board for several journals, including the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Southern Medical Journal and Radiology.
After graduating with honors from Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Haskal completed his residency in radiology at the University of California, San Francisco, as well as a fellowship in interventional radiology.
