In 2003, Willy Gissen founded Cut-It-Out Communications, a Westchester public relations firm specializing in the incorporation of online activities in traditional campaigns. He has built a strong reputation as an online public relations and SEO consultant, holding the #1 Google ranking for his own company for the geo-targeted keyword, “Westchester County public relations,” since September 2008. Mr. Gissen has been certified in advanced search engine marketing by the Search Engine Academy, has studied online activities in courses at NYU and the New School, and writes a monthly column on online PR for the Westchester and Fairfield County Business Journals. Previously, he was Vice President at a regional public relations and marketing firm run by a former SVP of the top New York City PR firm, Hill & Knowlton.
