Summary of expertise:
At PDF, leads organizational strategies for advancing clinical research through the engagement of people with Parkinson's and care partners in the research process, including the creation of Parkinson’s Advocates in Research (PAIR), a national research advocacy initiative that features a multi-day leadership training. Spearheaded a stakeholder roundtable series to identify and address institutional barriers that delay research. Directed PDtrials, a clinical research education and awareness campaign, for a coalition of eleven national Parkinson’s disease organizations. Created the People with Parkinson’s Advisory Council and led the restructuring key Foundation programs and grants to improve output and increase accountability.
