Solar Charged Driving is a forward-thinking blog on the virtues of embracing alternative energies. It's probably something everyone should get behind. Because as best as I can tell, there are two types of energy resources. There are those you can renew and those you can't. Their focus is on promoting the mainstreaming of solar power vehicles. And I know what you're thinking. How can a solar-powered car drive at night? First off, I remember that joke, too. And secondly, it doesn't work like that.
To be honest, I only sort of get how it works. Electric or hybrid cars are charged, or "plugged into" sources that originate with solar panels. As they say, "All you need to drive a solar-charged car is solar panels on your home or your garage, and an EV (electric vehicle) and/or a PHEV (plugin hybrid electric vehicle) in your driveway. Plug it in, and just like that, you'll be off and running on the sun." I take one look at gas prices and see the benefit.
Solar Charged Driving wants everyone to see that benefit. They are committed to bringing us news on the people and companies championing this cause. Oh and let's not forget, there are some pretty cool cars on here, too. They just happen to be cars that won't completely drain our planet's resources. Solar Charged Driving is here to highlight that. They're here to help us see the light.
