Well the name of this blog is certainly inviting, isn't it? Mi Blog Es Tu Blog. Laura Martinez welcomes us in right from the banner name. And once inside, you can see that she is one serious writer. She most recently was the editor in chief and founder at ADWEEK’s Marketing y Medios. And before that she was an editor at The Wall Street Journal en Español. Today, she works as a bilingual freelancer, specializing in marketing and advertising.

Mi Blog Es Tu Blog seems to be a repository for all of these things, and also anything else that which she sees fit to share. Today, we can see a Southwest Airlines crew singing (in Espanol, of course). There's also reports on the rise of Latinas in movies and a critique of a Spanish-language Obama ad, and the poor copy-editing skills apparent therein. But it's also light. There's report on the world's largest taco competition, a Captain Mexico parody of Captain America, and a video of a particularly intrepid musician fashioning a trumpet out of a soda bottle. Ok, that last one is just plain awesome.

Really, this whole blog is awesome. It transitions between observations on where this rising demographic fits into the larger cultural landscape with fun and lighthearted content to help you get through a boring day.
