Jaunted is the type of travel blog that, yeah, tells you plenty of tips, links, resources and anything else you might need for a quick trip or an extended vacation. But Jaunted is also the type of travel blog that wonders what it would be like if Lady Gaga was a flight attendant. In their own words, "Jaunted is the pop culture travel guide for globetrotters, business road dogs, and arm chair travelers who are too harried to sit down with a traditional travel guide, or wait for a monthly travel magazine."
Jaunted really does cover it all. It travels between stories of airline taxes, must-see (or is it must-eat?) seafood festivals, reviews of new apps to make traveling easier, and of course Gaga. You can even read about an LA hotel with a retro airline theme. See? Jaunted is all over the place. It's helpful and it's fun. It's informative, but it's not too serious. All in all, it's a great blog.
And part of what makes Jaunted such a great blog is due to their writers. As they say, Jaunted Is Participatory Journalism. By that I mean, their writers are everyday travelers with stories and pictures and reviews to share. Readers can comment incessantly, or even submit their own posts. Come to think of it, I might just do so myself.
