I've been writing a lot about travel blogs lately. Maybe I'm feeling restless in hot and humid New York. Maybe it's just the summertime. Regardless of why or how, it's no surprise that through this travel blog research I've landed on Gadling. Considered one of the top travel blogs around, Gadling is a great destination for travel news, tips, as well as everything from budget to adventure vacations. They've even got a section on "Traveling the American Road". My favorite.

Truthfully, they're all over the map over there at Gadling. Today, they've got a video of Two Brits in a Wal-Mart, a great post on Dubrovnik and a series of six Lake Tahoe adventures. There's also an update on how an impending Alaskan volcano eruption might disrupt flight plans for the region. (But that won't effect my flight to Vancouver next month, RIGHT?!) Basically, if it's got ANYTHING to do with travel, it's probably on their site.

Gadling makes me feel nostalgic for all these places I've been, just as it makes me yearn to vist all the places I haven't. There's a whole big bad world out there. Gadling's here to make sure you've packed correctly and are otherwise fully prepared for the trip.
