      Summary of expertise:
      Richards received an undergraduate degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University, a MBA degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business and is also a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. At Southern Methodist University, Ms. Richards is responsible for operations, enrollment, marketing, communications, and outreach for the School of Engineering. In addition, in her role as executive director of The Infinity Project, she was responsible for expanding this innovative middle and high school engineering curriculum project to 37 states. Ms. Richards was instrumental in advocating the inclusion of engineering as a fourth year science course to the Texas State Board of Education and currently serves as a trustee on the board of Plano ISD.
