Steve joined Kraft Foods in 1987 as a Co-op in Packaging R&D for Post Cereals. He has received five patents during his 20 year tenure at Kraft Foods, along with numerous awards at Kraft Foods and in the food industry. Steve worked as an Engineer/Scientist across a variety of divisions and product lines and gained experience in R&D management between 1996 and 1999.
In 1999, Steve moved to Operations when he was named Operations Business Team Leader. He then became the Director of OTP (Operations, Technology and Quality) for the Beverage Division in 2001; and in 2003, became Senior Division Manufacturing Director for Beverages where he had direct responsibility for five manufacturing facilities and all of headquarters operations. In 2005, Steve became the Senior Director of Manufacturing Business Development & Engineering where he took on added responsibility for coffee and sector engineering for headquarters and in the field.

Steve has a B.S. in Packaging Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he is a member of the schools Board of Advisors. He also has an M.B.A. in Operations Management from DePaul University, has studied packaging at the University of London and has a number of certifications from UMass Lowell for plastics and plastics processing.
