I have over 30 years experience as a multi-disciplinary management and financial executive with a major concentration with small businesses in the formation, growth, and stability stages. I have been a college professor, small business/entrepreneurial program coordinator, and statewide lecturer for a number of universities. I have a PhD degree in organization and management, an MBA degree in management, a BBA degree (cum laude) in accounting, a BBA degree in marketing, and am a Certified Public Accountant. As the CEO of the Association of Accredited Small Business Consultants, I was the major developer and author of the SEMP Approach to small business consulting (Simplified Examination to Maximize Profit) which is a proprietary, step-by-step training method teaching individuals the techniques of small business consulting to improve operational efficiency, maximize profit, and increase company value.

Prior media experience:
Two-time winner in citywide elections to the Amarillo Independent School District Board of Trustees (Amarillo, TX). Was president of board during the year in which a contentious bond issue was passed that went before the voters that failed the previous year. Dealt extensively with media during nine-year tenure on the board.
