      Summary of expertise:
      I specialize in bringing music and the arts to general audiences, promoting interest in the arts, and advocating the critical role of arts in society and in education. My academic focus is on Russian Culture, German Romanticism, and Opera. I am fluent in Russian and German.
      After teaching for 21 years at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, I began working in my own business as an educator, speaker, and tour leader. I am the principal speaker for the Van Cliburn Concert Series and Dallas Winds, frequent speaker for the Dallas Symphony, Kimball Museum, and Dallas Museum of Art (and other organizations), and a tour leader and lecturer for the Smithsonian (primarily in Russia and Eastern Europe).
      I am a frequent speaker on the subjects of Classical education and homeschooling.

I have considerable on-camera experience through my own multimedia courses and trade outlets. I have extensive experience as a public speaker.
