      Dr. Rollins is a speech language pathologist and a developmental psycholinguist with more than 25 years of clinical and research experience in social communication and autism.

      Her research focuses on the continuity between early social-communication abilities and the acquisition of language in typically developing children and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

      She is the founder and director of the Early CLASS (Communication, Language and Social Skills), a classroom-based social communication program for children ages 3-5 on the autism spectrum.

      She was appointed by Texas Gov. Rick Perry to the Texas Council on Autism and Pervasive Developmental Disorders.

      She received her Ed.D. in human development and pyschology from Harvard University.
