      Dr. Marcia Walker works to expand High Pressure Processing (HPP) technology across product lines and conduct ongoing research.
      Walker spent 8 years at Oregon State University to establish the Dept. as a leader HPP processing of foods . The Dept of Defense funded research that helped lead to the commercialization of HPP.
      Walker helped establish the Nonthermal Processing Division of The Institute of Food Technologist, a combination of industry, academia and government to establish new technologies like High Pressure Processing.

      Walker received her B.S. in Biology from Gonzaga University, M.S in Food Science and Nutrition from Washington State University and a Ph.D. in Food Science from Oregon State University.
