      Summary of expertise:
      Lisa Purcell is vice president development, education and community outreach for the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum. She has oversight for the museum’s contributed income division, supporting the nonprofit’s mission to preserve the evolving history and traditions of country music and to educate its audiences. Purcell’s team executes all fundraising events and directs the museum’s philanthropic activities, including grant procurement and individual, foundation and corporate donations.

      Prior to joining the museum staff, Purcell served as vice president of external affairs for Hands On Nashville. Purcell’s additional non-profit experience includes work in the program and administrative departments of the Frick Art & Historical Center, Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art, Frist Center for the Visual Arts and the Tennessee Arts Commission. She also served as a grant review panelist for the National Endowment for the Arts and worked with the T.J. Martell Foundation.
      Educational background:
      Purcell holds an undergraduate and a master’s degree in art history from West Virginia University and a certificate in executive leadership from Belmont University.
