    Summarize your expertise in greater detail Linda Jones has 26 years of professional nursing experience in clinical practice, education and leadership.She is a highly published author on emergency departments and the trauma system as well as a frequent national and regional speaker on these topics.

    Currently, Linda Jones serves as Editor-in-Chief of Nursing 2009. She served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Emergency Nursing. She is currently appointed to the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Trauma Nursing and Accident & Emergency Nursing (UK), and the Editorial Advisory Board for Nursing.

    She received a Regional Nursing Leadership Award by the Nursing Spectrum in 2005 and is the 2007 International Award recipient of the Marie Hippensteel Lingeman Award for Excellence in Nursing Practice through Sigma Theta Tau. Linda is a site reviewer for the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma. She served as both a member and as president of the Delaware Board of Nursing from 1992 to 1997. As a 20-year volunteer Ski Patrol member at Pennsylvania¿s Blue Mountain Ski area, she received the "Purple Merit Star," the highest meritorious service award for saving a human life, and recognition by the National Ski Patrol for excellence in emergency care.

    Ms. Jones,MS, RN, ACNS-BC, CCRN, CEN received her Bachelor¿s and Master's degrees in nursing from the University of Delaware as well as a Post-Graduate Certificate Program in Nursing Administration, and completed an Executive Fellowship with the Advisory Board Company in Washington, DC. She is currently pursuing a Fellowship in Wilderness Medicine through the Wilderness Medical Society.
