2010-2011 President of the California Society of Enrolled Agents. The California Society of Enrolled Agents is the innovative influence and dynamic voice for taxation in California. Ms. Kastl, a former IRS agent, joined CSEA in 2001. Her tenure as 32nd President of CSEA was noted for the Society’s successful legislative efforts on behalf of California taxpayers, including SB 401, the Conformity Act of 2010. At CSEA she gained political acumen through chairing the Political Action Committee (PAC) and Legislative Committee, as well as serving on several other state committees, including Bylaws, Executive, Membership & Chapter Development, and Public Information & Awareness. She previously served as both a Director and President of the East Bay Association of Enrolled Agents, which has over 400 active members.
