Meet Kerry Lynn Spindler, former fashion model and melanoma survivor. Ever since being diagnosed with this deadly disease at the young age of 27, Spindler has made it her mission to raise public awareness for skin cancer. She works to combat the unhealthy perceptions of skincare as promoted by the media by educating people on the importance of sun safety. However, she has done so in quite a unique way: through fashion and beauty.
