Junko Yoshida has nearly 30 years of domestic and international journalism experience.
Yoshida has been employed by EE Times in increasingly significant editorial positions over the past ten years, including assistant Tokyo bureau chief, European bureau chief based in Paris, and West Coast bureau chief. In 2008, she became EE Times’ editor-in-chief of both online and print, shepherding the overall management of Internet and print content as well as guiding EET's editorial staff and expediting essential information to the electronics industry.
Most recently (May, 2012), Yoshida has become EE Times’ Chief International Correspondent. In this role, Yoshida will be responsible for the overall global expansion of the EE Times brand and presence, both editorial and events, with a strong emphasis on China, where the power base of the electronics industry is increasingly shifting. Yoshida will work closely with UBM Electronics joint venture partners and will also lead the content strategy for EE Times conferences.
Yoshida was a key player in the globalization of EE Times, whose unsurpassed news content is published in North America, Europe, China, Korea, Taiwan, Asia and Japan. In addition, Yoshida drove the expansion of EE Times' consumer electronics coverage..
