      Summary of expertise:
Jim McCarthy, CFP®, ChFC®, is an independent fee-based financial advisor. He helps clients build personalized investment programs and provides comprehensive wealth management services. He utilizes tools that help clients manage risks, enhance return, and minimize taxes. He focuses in unlocking retirement cash flow strategies, retirement planning, pre-retirement planning and estate planning.

Jim also utilizes a ‘financial fitness for women’ coaching approach to help women, especially single women (single by choice, through divorce or widowed), take care of their financial well being. He began using this coaching approach in the past decade as his base of female clients grew and he noticed a shift as women gained control of more wealth; yet most planners/advisors still focused more on men and paid more attention to the male when dealing with couples.
