      Jim is the co-author of a popular and highly-effective sales training book, "Ending the Cold War between Salesmen and Customers" available on Amazon.

      The book has been translated into 7 languages. A company in Slovakia adopted one lesson per week from the book in May. There are 55 lessons in total. Based on this strategy, the company’s August sales beat July sales, unheard in a part of the world where a full one-month vacation is traditionally taken each August.

      Awards/associations/memberships:
      Energy Professionals was named Top Workplaces 2019 by Tampa Bay Tribune. They are members of the American Composite Manufacturers Association and the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce.

      In 2016, Jim received the President’s Volunteer Service Award (for his extensive involvement in Drug Free World, Youth for Human Rights, The Way to Happiness Foundation and Literacy programs in North America, South Africa & Europe.) The President's Volunteer Service Award is an initiative of the Corporation for National and Community Service and is administered by Points of Light, the largest organization in the world dedicated to volunteer service. Jim and his wife are volunteers of the International Way to Happiness organization. They have worked with people around the world to help raise millions to distribute the booklet The Way to Happiness, a non-religious common-sense moral guide that has been distributed in over 150 countries on seven continents and translated into 114 languages.

      Educational background:
      Jim received his Nuclear Engineering degree from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1983. He served as a Nuclear Engineering Officer aboard the U.S. Fast Attack submarine, USS Flying Fish (SSN 673), until 1988. He was licensed as a Professional Engineer in Maryland in 1989. Jim worked for Booz-Allen as a Nuclear Engineering Consultant and then the U.S. Government Naval Sea Systems Command managing the U.S. Navy’s Trident Submarine new construction program until the end of 1990.

      In 1999, Jim co-founded Consumer Energy Solutions, Inc. and CASA, Inc. to build one of the most respected and successful energy consulting companies across the U.S. and Canada. In 2014, he acquired sole ownership of CASA, Inc. In 2018, CASA, Inc. d.b.a. North American Energy Advisory (NAEA) merged with Energy Professionals, LLC, and expanded its team of outstanding commercial energy consultants.
