Summary of expertise:
As the Executive Editor of Design News, I manage the day-to-day operations of the magazine. I edit all articles (for print and online) and I choose the articles that will appear online each day. I work closely with freelancers, assign stories, and organize and manage all contributed content. I manage special projects as they come along.

Prior media experience:
Before joining Design News in 2007 as its Production Editor, I spent 12 years in the daily newspaper business. During that time I was a crime reporter, and also spent a couple of those years on the copy desk, editing articles, writing headlines, and laying out the papers each day.
Educational background:
Bachelor of Arts in English with a writing option from Plymouth State College (now University) in Plymouth, NH. |
