Jayson Goh is the Chief Information Officer and Executive Director of Infocomms / Media at the Singapore Economic Development Board. Mr. Goh is an expert on infocomms trends in the Asian market and can provide valuable insights on how U.S. companies are expanding their data and analytics operations in Asia, in-depth information about the growth of the Asian data analytics market, and recent developments in the Singapore infocomms industry. Jayson Goh Bio: Jayson joined the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) in 1999 and currently serves as Executive Director of the Infocomms & Media (ICM) Division. He oversees the development of the IT, Computing, E-Business, Software, Internet, Telecommunications & Networks, Digital Media and Electronic Systems sectors in Singapore. In addition to his appointments in EDB Headquarters in Singapore, Jayson also held various appointments in EDB’s Global Operations in the US between 2003 and 2008, and was on secondment to the Ministry of Law from 2001 to 2002. At the Law Ministry, Jayson held the appointment of Assistant Director, Strategic Planning. He was involved in setting up two new policy divisions – Strategic Planning and Intellectual Property Policy. He returned to EDB in early 2002 to lead the team responsible for establishing the framework to promote Singapore as the intellectual property hub of Asia. During his stint in the US, Jayson was appointed Center Director, San Francisco, where he was responsible for investment promotion in both Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. He was subsequently appointed Regional Director, where he led the EDB investment promotion effort in the Western US region. Jayson graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science (Electrical & Electronic Engineering) from the Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine, London and obtained a Master of Science (Industrial & Operations Research Engineering) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1999. Jayson was sponsored by the EDB to pursue his Master in Business Administration and graduated from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2009. Prior to pursuing his tertiary education, Jayson performed his military service between 1992 and 1995 as an Officer in the Republic of Singapore Air Force, during which he was awarded the Sword-of-Honour in 1993. Jayson was awarded the Ministry of Law Commendation Award in 2002 in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Ministry.
