    My Expertise

Area(s) of expertise: Managed Care, Evidence Based Practice, V
      Summary of expertise:
Senior Executive with over 15 years in healthcare and human services management, policy and operations. I am proficient in managed care for behavior health, which entails managing activities intended to reduce the cost of providing health care to the youth and families receiving services from Hillside Family of Agencies, while improving the quality of that care. My expertise also includes long-term care and dual-eligible populations, or those qualifying for both Medicare and Medicaid benefits. Along with this knowledge, my expertise in product development of integrated clinical and social services for health plans and systems provides Hillside with insight to a variety of subject matters that are imperative to the agency’s success. In my current role I lead the organizations Practice and Performance Excellence Department. I am also responsible value based payment, meaning to shift from pure volume-based payment, as exemplified by fee-for-service payments to payments that are more closely related to outcomes, as well as behavioral and medical service integration, all while managing a team of 60 staff, $5M budget and reporting directly to the CEO.
