She is currently working on a research projects examining the causes and consequences of partisan polarization in America; on the way membership-based organizations can enhance members' overall level of political engagement and participation; and internal organizational factors that affect overall political effectiveness; and on the changing dynamics of congressional primary elections.
Books/articles published:
Han's work has been published in the British Journal of Political Science and Legislative Studies Quarterly. She is currently writing a book to be published on how people are motivated to participate in a democracy.
Awards/associations/memberships:
Han was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow from 2002-2005, and received Stanford University's Centennial Teaching Award in 2002.
