While knowing your customer is critical in meeting regulatory requirements, mitigating fraud and minimizing exposure to reputational risk, many lenders struggle with inefficiencies that create customer friction and increased acquisition costs. This session will introduce Experian’s latest product innovation and thinking around streamlining business verification and customer due diligence and will provide a forum for you to share your feedback.
Greg Carmean has over 20 years of experience in the information industry specializing in commercial risk management services. In his current role, he is responsible for managing data strategy and core commercial credit products including domestic and international commercial credit reports, and corporate linkage. Recently, he managed the development and launch of Experian’s Global Data Network product line, a commercial data environment that provides a single source of up-to-date international credit and firmographic information from Experian commercial bureaus and Tier 1 partners across the globe. Prior to joining Experian in 2003, Carmean served as director of product marketing for legal and corporate markets for ChoicePoint Corporation. While with ChoicePoint, he specialized in business credentialing, and held a variety of positions in sales, product management and data acquisition.
Carmean holds a Master of Arts in clinical psychology from California State University at Dominguez Hills and received a Bachelor of Arts in liberal studies from California State University at Long Beach.
