      Summary of expertise:
      Francois de Brantes is the executive director of the Health Care Incentives Improvement Institute (HCI3), a not-for-profit multi-stakeholder umbrella organization for Bridges to Excellence, Inc. (BTE) and PROMETHEUS Payment, Inc. The mission of the organization is to create significant improvements in the quality and affordability of health care by developing and implementing programs that recognize and reward physicians, hospitals and other health care providers that deliver safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable and patient-centered care. HCI3 offers a comprehensive package of solutions to employers, health plans and coalitions to improve the flawed incentives that currently permeate the U.S. health care system.

      Mr. de Brantes is a member of the NQF's Committee on Efficiency Measurement, the NCQA's Committee on Physician Performance, and AHRQ's HCUP Steering Committee.
      Educational background:
      Mr. de Brantes attended the University of Paris IX - Dauphine where he earned a MS in Economics and Finance. After completing his military service as a platoon leader in a Light Cavalry Regiment, he attended the Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College, where he graduated with an MBA.
