Last year's inaugural National Costume Swap Day was an incredible success with 77 swaps in 23 states and Canada and thousands of people saving money and avoiding throwing costumes into landfills.
TV stations and newspapers across the country picked up the story including Good Morning America.
This year we're expecting even more participation from individual and groups as well as media interest.
Anyone can register a swap for free or find one at www.CostumeSwapDay.com
This year we're kicking off the day with a blogfest. More than fifty bloggers have already signed up to participate with a post about the events
