Summary of expertise:
Cain Blythe joined the Ecosulis in 2002 after working for the public sector and an international multidisciplinary consultancy. Cain is a Chartered Environmentalist and full member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management. After leading Ecosulis through an employee buyout in 2007 and developing the consultancy team, Cain is now primarily involved in running the Countryside Management department, working with the Environmental Impact Assessment team, strategic management of company operations and developing partnerships with specialist environmental companies. Cain also runs the Research and Development department with Alan Feest by securing European funding, advancing research into Biodiversity Assessment and developing innovative products, such as our unique biodiverse roof blanket, pollution curtain and floating reedbed systems. Cain has a wide range of environmental experience including Expert Witness at Public Inquiry, designing and implementing ecological mitigation projects and providing specialist consulting advice.
