Summary of expertise:
Anne Kilgore is director of Global Sustainability for Eastman Chemical Company. Since being named to this position in April, 2009, Anne has been leading the company’s corporate sustainability program, including development and implementation of vision, principles, goals and project execution. Her team is responsible for linkage to business and customer strategies, external commitments, and performance tracking. Prior to this position, Anne was responsible for Marketing Communications globally and the development of overall marketing capability building. Her early experience came from Eastman's Supply Chain organization where Anne spent almost 20 years in supply chain management, process improvement, and global logistics. Although primarily located in Eastman’s corporate headquarters, Anne’s Supply Chain background also included an assignment in Eastman’s European headquarters in The Netherlands, supporting the company’s transition to a centralized European customer service and logistics headquarters.

Anne Kilgore is an accomplished speaker and interviewee. She regularly works with media as an expert source on sustainability in the global chemical industry, and speaks at conferences and industry groups on the value of sustainability initiatives to increase the bottom line.

Kilgore graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee in 1976 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is active in professional and volunteer organizations.
