Catherine Morse received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and her law degree from the University of Houston. After graduating from law school, Morse worked in the labor and employment law section of Vinson & Elkins¿ Houston office. She then joined the Austin Office of Fulbright & Jaworski, where she also specialized in labor and employment law. Morse began her in-house counsel career with Applied Materials, spending more than six years as Director of HR Legal Services for Applied¿s Austin site. She later served as the global Director of Labor and Employment Law for Freescale Semiconductor. In August of 2007, Morse joined Samsung Austin Semiconductor where she presently serves as General Counsel and Director of Public Affairs. Morse has been active in the Austin community for many years. She has served on the Board of Directors of Mobile Loaves and Fishes, Goodwill Industries of Central Texas, Any Baby Can and the Travis Association for the Blind. |
